Whether you are attending the South Beach Seafood Festival, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, or the Miami International Auto Show, South Florida is the place to spend time this autumn.

South Beach Seafood Festival

The South Beach Seafood Festival, held Saturday, October 19, 2013, celebrates the seafood experience of Miami and helps kick off Miami’ Beach’s premier Stone Crab Season. The event features food, drinks, and all day entertainment hosted on the sand beaches in South Beach. Ten locally selected restaurants will feature a 20×20 culinary garden with seating, as well as various signature seafood items. Also included in the mix are full bars that offer wine, cocktails, and beer, all prepared by local mixologists. In addition, great live entertainment will be featured, such as music from local bands, culinary and cocktail demonstrations from featured chefs, and other interactive activities. Best of all, you can start the party early with an exclusive VIP kick off at Joe’s Stone crabs for a night of fresh stone crabs Thursday evening, October 17th. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Education Foundation, as well as CI Foundation, which both focus on educating the future leaders of the community.

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

The “Yachting Capitol of the World”, For Lauderdale, Florida, will host the 54th Fort Lauderdale International Boat show on October 31- November 4, 2013. Ranging from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts, this exhibit has it all and is nothing short of spectacular. The exhibit will feature and display a wide variety of boats and sea vessels, including runabouts, ski boats, high performance boats, cabins cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, spectacular superyachts, and more! While this event covers six locations and over 3 million square feet of space, the show’s extensive transportation network certifies that attendees can easily navigate the boat show. Additional attractions include the Blue Wild Dive Show and IGFA’s School of Sportfishing.

Miami International Auto Show

South Florida’s signature event, The Miami International Auto show, returns November 8-17, 2013 with recently added exhibit, which include Topless in Miami, a display of convertible cars in a picturesque Miami environment, and Havana Classics, a spinoff of Memory Lane celebrating nostalgic moments from the 50s. In addition, Ride & Drive events give show-goers a chance to test-drive a new car, while Camp Jeep offers visitors off-road driving courses to demonstrate the 4×4 capabilities of Jeep vehicles. Attendees will also want to check out the Auto Show’s most popular exhibit, Million Dollar Alley. This exhibit features the super-fast, super-luxurious, six-figure motorcars, including models such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, McLaren, and Lamborghini.
